- Sport and Active Recreation Equipment Grants Program 2022-23

Applications for the 2022-23 Sport and Active Recreation Equipment Grants Program opened on Monday, 24 October 2022 and close at midnight on Friday, 16 December 2022.

The Tasmanian Government is committed to supporting all Tasmanians to access a range of high quality, safe, fair and inclusive sporting opportunities.

The 2022-23 Sport and Active Recreation Equipment Grants Program provides sport and active recreation clubs with grants of between $2,000 and $25,000 to assist with the purchase of additional or replacement equipment.

Applicants are required to contribute at least 30 per cent of the total cost of purchasing the equipment. 

Incorporated School Sports Associations are eligible to apply, while schools who share their facilities with local community clubs are encouraged to partner with them to complete an application.
