JUDO IN SCHOOLS for 2023!

Seishin Martial Arts are now opening up registration for next year. A fun and exciting way to improve physical education, fitness, motorskills, confidence and team work for your students!

Our Judo for Schools program offers tailored packages to support the physical education and activity of your students.

We focus on physical, emotional and social skills as we learn judo techniques that develop and improve focus, regulation, balance, motor skills, teamwork and trust.

Through judo students learn body awareness, develop confidence, improve their
social skills and increase self-control.

WHO ARE WE?
Seishin is Tasmania’s first martial arts club offering dedicated training and coaching in No Limits judo for children and adults living with disability and additional needs.

Now the largest No Limits club in Australia, Seishin specialises in providing a safe, adaptive and inclusive way for people living with an intellectual, sensory or physical disability/additional needs to get involved in martial arts. Our Seishin dojo is located at 2B Loinah Road, Montagu Bay.

WHAT DO WE DO?
Seishin Martial Arts provides a community focused and inclusive training environment that promotes equality, embraces diversity, and empowers people to reach their full potential. As well as our No Limits judo programs for children, teens and adults with disability/additional needs we also provide mainstream judo classes, which some of our No Limits players cross train and transfer into.

It is so important to us that players can develop and grow at their pace and level. At Seishin Martial Arts students work to learn techniques and skills of judo, in an adapted form of judo for each individual. The skills learned on the judo mats are skills for life as students improve balance, motor skills, coordination, emotional regulation, focus, patience and social skills.

We are committed to developing players and their skills to support them to reach their full potential. Progress and development of the player is based on a partnership between the player, the coaches and the parents. We work in collaboration with the player, family and their support network to ensure we are meeting the players needs. Safety is of the utmost importance to us, followed closely by having a lot of fun!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

  • 10 students or less = $15 per student
  • 11+ students = 10% discount ($13.50 per student)

Need a special program? Would you like to book for the whole term? Talk to us about special rates.

WHERE ARE THE PROGRAMS HELD?

Our Judo programs can be held on school sites or at our dojo at 2B Loinah Road, Montagu Bay.
